The Portes du Soleil is the world’s largest internationally linked ski area offering skiing in 12 resorts across France and Switzerland. The 650km of piste offer ample opportunities for all abilities and disciplines and boasts an excellent snow record.

“Great food, amazing hospitality and wonderful skiing followed by a relaxing hot tub.” Niamh, Ireland.

Chalet des Etoiles is within walking distance of the St Jean D’Aulps ski station with its safe nursery slopes, abundant off-piste, and a picturesque circuit, la Roc d’Enfer. The area has been described by the Sunday Times as “the hidden gem of the Portes du Soleil’ and is the perfect location for all types of winter and summer sports.

Guests can also choose to ski from Montriond where a modern 10 man telecabine whisks you to the hub of the Portes du Soleil, with speedy access to Avoriaz, Chatel and Switzerland. We also take our guests to the Nyon or the Pleney telecabin with access to the great variety of skiing in Morzine and Les Gets.

Other activities that are available include snow shoe walking, dog sledding, skidooing, cross country skiing. We can book guides for all of these activities if required.
